It has a lively bar and particularly pleasant and incredibly welcoming staff.

This hotel was excellent value for money, seeing price-lists in other hotels. I enjoyed unbeatable and incredible location and how the place is fairly clean. The staff were friendly attentive and an absolute pleasure.

Generally, the place was wonderful old and had patient staff with a very friendly Australian member of staff. Loved to spend 1 day in our top-class premium king room with lovely bed, shower and the fridge.

All in all fantastic setting near to the Glasgow central railway station itself and the restaurant and especially the staff. Savoury breakfast, plenty of meals.

We were there for 1 day, everything was really good, greatly enjoyed its perfect and amazing location close enough to the Glasgow central railway station itself, bus stations, and restaurants and local transportation such as Glasgow's great subway. The place turned out to be excellent value for money in comparison to other hotels.

The breakfast looked good cooked, for all tastes, unfortunately we did n't have time and did n't try it. We spent here 1 special day and would stay here again.

Everything was nice, nevertheless a few employees were not particularly helpful. Standard queen room with all the amenities was the best.

Well, the views were not so great here.

The units are high standard, brand-new with a huge comfortable super king size bed, a full wardrobe, the bar.

The breakfast was rich and warm, for all tastes and incredible value for money. The staff were amazingly attentive and the design was nice. The setting was quite excellent within easy reach of a war memorial.

This hotel was excellent value for money. The stay here was very special on the weekend. We had a savoury and generous breakfast with chilled and fruits, as for instance, could find something for everyone.

Clean perfect accommodation with magnificent location next to the train station as well as buses etc and particularly pleasant staff. Tasty and delicious breakfast with all the cooked food, another coffee machine, large choise of english and impeccable customer service.

The setting was unbeatable and the staff where good people with 1 member of staff checking in. Appreciated to hang out in the centre, it's relatively near the hotel.

Very helpful stuff at reception desk and concierge desk, thanks to them everything was fine. The room was top quality and brand-new with smoke detectors for my safety. The hotel was in the central setting away from the public areas which where decorated for Christmas.

The restaurant here was nice for dinner, we both ordered tasty dishes. We truly enjoyed city view and available amenities, including a high ceiling, a lounge, and armchairs.

Very happy with our stay, would stay here again. The hotel has an incredible location, in Central station with trains beneath us.

I had a pleasant overnight experience here, everything was very comfortable, the location was incredible right by Glasgow with an excellent location, comfortable rooms and helpful staff and the centre of the stairwell. Food was amazing and I stayed in the premium king room, it was top-class. Thoroughly enjoyed the champagne bar.

Had a fairly nice stay for two nights, everything was beautiful. The restaurant was astonishing and the breakfast was tasty and delicious with cooked items and hot dishes, as example.

We booked premium king room with the TV as well as decor. It was in the central location, had patient stuff on shift.

Make sure to get premium king room with an extra large bed for comfort, every amenity to hand and access to the lounge. The location is perfect, 1 km from a contemporary art gallery.

Views are not very good.

Good value for cost and exactly what I needed. All in all everything was nice, had an amazing stay on the weekend. Enjoyed the standard king room with a kettle and tea/coffee and the way it was setup.

Well, it was an amazing stay for two nights. The restaurant was magnificent for full evening meals, I tried casual dishes. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the balcony had exceptional views of town. The location of the hotel was marvellous and brilliant - not very far from Underground. It was a nice quiet area, a fabulous base for me.

The stay for 3 nights certainly was excellent value for money. Everything was very good, very informative staff, ideal location not far from the good shopping areas, the main shopping centre and Central City.

The venue was grand old and great looking, I appreciated the stay and the location was magnificent close enough to central attractions as well as the train station, restaurants and tourism sites. The breakfast was savoury and for all tastes, excellent value for money. The service was friendly, including a friendly check-in. Plus, I was able to park the car nearby.

This wonderful old hotel had a central setting in the amazing restaurants you can reach in easy walking distance. What's more, it was so close to Glasgow that is minutes away as well as a cafe for breakfast. At the restaurant, the breakfast was generous and varied for all tastes.

It was really incredible value for money. The staff was attentive and top-class, loved this place. Our standard queen room was compact, double superior. The location was decent, within a close distance from Sauchiehall Street. Had welcome drinks in the champagne bar in the evening.

The location was unbeatable, for example, Merchant City was a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel.

We had a stylish and airy room. The breakfast was varied, the best we had in Glasgow. The location was stunning, approx 10-15 minutes' walk from a Scottish fine art school.

The location was beautiful and fab, short walk to pubs, clubs, shops and transport. Plus, distance to High Street was only 1 km.

The premium king room didn't seem appealing on photos but it was high-class.

this hotel is equal to 4 stars. very clean rooms. nando's, where you can eat, is walking distance to the property.

We were right by such places as buchanan street. A short walk to st enoch metro stop, some 5 minutes walk. 200 feet away there is Mezcal. We loved staying at grand central.

Just walking distance from the restaurant La Lanterna. Glasgow airport was hardly 20 minutes away by car. Fabulous base for a vacation in Glasgow...
